What would happen to us if the sun disappeared?
If our sun disappeared, then what would happen to earth and all the other planets in our solar system? this is what we were learning about in class. If the sun disappeared, then it would take us 8 minutes to notice that it was gone. Imagine waking up in the morning-and the sun never came up!
If the sun disappeared, then earth would go out of its orbit. Earth would be like a spaceship, flying around the galaxy!We would have no sunlight, and no warmth, but, we could still just use our technology for a very long time.
The sun has a shield that protects us from bad things outside of the solar system (Like interstellar wind) and if it disappeared, then so would the shield.
All of the other planets in the solar system would have light for longer than us because they are further away. Since we are closer to the sun, it only takes 8 minutes to have it disappear.
