Inquiry: How a light bulb works

A classic light bulb creates light when the electricity goes up the wire, to the filament, where it struggles to get through, causing it to heat up and create light. After the electricity has gone through the filament it comes out the other end of the wire and continues through its circuit (Through the roof of the house/building).

Classic light bulbs use a lot of energy, so new light bulbs have been invented, such as the energy efficient light bulb and the LED light bulb. The LED light bulb is the most efficient.

In my house, we use  LED light bulbs.
